Why this exists
A panic button activates after something has already gone wrong. That describes about one percent of the time a person spends in recovery. We built for the other ninety-nine.
Tolerance collapses within days of abstinence. The remembered dose does not. The period after detox, hospital discharge, or release is among the highest-risk windows in medicine — so we speak up during it, unprompted, before anything happens.
Six states, from Baseline to Unresponsive. You see the whole ladder and you decide who is told what, at which tier. One exception, disclosed up front and not overridable: if we believe you are in medical danger, we alert someone.
Under acute stress nobody can produce a coherent report. Your address, your unit number, your door code, written down while you were calm and read back to you one line at a time when you are not.
The most common reason people do not call 911 during an overdose is fear of arrest. Most US states protect the caller. We say so first, before anything else, without being asked.
An alert at 3am wakes someone into maximum panic. Ours arrives with what happened, what the system already did, what to do in the next sixty seconds — and what not to say.
The Memory Vault plays actual recordings made by the people who love you. We deliberately do not clone anyone's voice. Consent given in calm is spent in crisis, and a disclosure label does not survive that moment.
